Our Team

Tabatha Houston

I created Side by Side because I saw many of my small business friends struggle with maintaining their books and keeping their back office organized. They spent too much time on the administrative side of their business instead of what they loved to do. They struggled with balancing administrative work and work that they love. So I started this company to support my friends and other small businesses struggling to maintain that balance.

I believe mom & pops are the backbones of this country, but most are; struggling in silence, forgotten by society, forced to choose between family time and administrative time, and overwhelmed by their list of administrative tasks.

When HR and Bookkeeping are done well, there is less stress, and you don't have to worry about audits and legal issues. You have the peace of mind that I have their back and will support them by working side by side with them on their administrative and bookkeeping needs.

I am the mom of two beautiful girls, the wife of a retired Navy submariner, and a proud member of the Roan Mountain community.
